Salary increment on temporary post

Sir, I have a serious issue . I m an SRF. Got appointment in Govt. Organization in 2007 after meeting the requirements of essential eligibility criteria i.e. first divisional Post Graduate degree in relevant field and subsequently, screening of application form and then qualifying interview carried out on the basis of merit list of written test.

Since 2010, SRFs have not got any increment in fellowship, however, here no increment has been implemented for SRFs who are not NET(National Eligible Test) qualified.NET qualification criteria was not mendatory at the time of appointment. Here revision is applicable only for NET qualified candidates.

SRFs get extension of their services yearly, on the basis of their performances after recommendation of divisional head and approval of authority. The matter is continuous in process, yet till date no decision has been taken in this regard. What to do? Can we claim for increment in salary as we all know that Government revises salary of regular/adhoc/temporary/contractual/ daily wedges employee, time to time,though we are working here at the same emoluments for such a long time.

Also, is there may be any claim for regularization of our services? Plz help, we are in big trouble...

consult a lawyer who is practicing in administrative tribunals for service matters.

Appoint ment laws are predefined and which are provided you in appointment letter

you can check there, Suggest you go better with your lawer in this case he will suggest you the correct way to proceed on this

The rules are with the Dept. Download or obtain from Union Leaders, Admin, or thru RTI. Consult an able counsel specializing in Labor/Service matters.

You are getting fellowship. Look for rules on fellowship.

Thank you all .... for the responces and concerns....it is to clear here that:

Basically its a fellowship.... but Tax has been deducted by account department herein ... and rules of increment of fellowship support NET qualifying candidates.... but those are new candidated came in after our batch. At the time of our recruitment, it was not mendatory... and in new fellowship rules there is no indication of increment for Non NET- SRF/JRF. After releasing new fellowship norms our posts has not been abolished by management and keep on moving the files here and there like in a govt.manner and thinking this that we would get new fellowship, we continued here for such a long time in a hope.... though still they are doing efforts, as they are saying, no decision has been taken yet.

our carreer graph has been stucked here only..... emoluments has not been increased for last 8 yrs.
