Sale agreement

If a property is located in some state can the sale agreement be executed in another state say the property is located in taminadu or kerala can the sale agreement be executed in Karnataka ? Please respond Thanks,

Sale Agreement can be excute at any place, but the sale Deed(Deed of Conveyence) have to execute where the property is situated.
