Hi Harsha, I'm Niharika Lohan, an advocate practising in New Delhi. I've read your query and here is my take on it.

s.328 IPC is an offence against the body (causing hurt by means of poison). It is a grave crime and is triable by the Court of Sessions. This offence is non bailable, which means bail does not come as a right to the accused.

Further, you can refer schedule I of CrPC, to find the list of offences and the courts by which they are triable.
