Skip a court for appeal

Can I skip a higher (District & sessions) Court for appeal against maintenance order and directly approach HC?

Normal hierarchy: Lower Court -> District Court -> HC

Skip the District & sessions court:  Lower Court -> HC

Is it allowed?

No. Not in Normal situations. But maintenance is under sec 125 of CRPC, CRPC has provision where an application can be made to HC to transfer any matter from One court to another. Or application where the it is sought that HC itself tries the matter. But there are underlying provisions. Application in your b4 HC may not hold. I m not a lawyer. Just giving my opinion. You do understand that I not trying to influence you.
