Society election

We have a very peculiar situation. We have 9 members, 3 are overseas. 4 living members are senior citizens. and one more member not living in the building is also a senior citizen ( TS). The left one member is about the age of 50.  He is Secretary and running the society without any problems  for last 25 years. All the the 4 living senior citizens members  are managing committee members as a requirement but have limited role to play in day to day affairs. Thesociety is 40 yrs old and all members have been here for over 25 yrs.

One of the senior citizen members, not living in this building has taken an objection of MC and complained to registrar questioning the validity of MC.  Form 20 bond by MC is executed in 2008 but submitted to registrar very recently.

What can happen if registrar invites election?

Can a non living member be nominated for election? There is hardly any chance that anyone will nominate him as he has always been a trouble shooter to the building and running office in his residential flat. If he cant, same members will get re elected and same thing will continue and fresh M20 bondsshall be given. How much this process can take?
