Sold the disputed plot without its history.

Greetings,

My Name is Manoj and I am a resident of Bangalore. I purchased a PLOT near HEBBAL out of all my savings last year. After 9 months I learnt that the plot had dispute.

There was a case filed in Sessions court of Bangalore which went on for 8 years, the moment the seller won the case he sold me the property without revealing about its history.

The current status is there is an APPEAL raised in HIGHCOURT of Bangalore against the plot that was sold to me as well as 4 other plots which is under the procession of Seller.

Seller has now appointed an advocate in high court for a total for all the 5 (Includes my plot also). I am unsure where exactly do I stand. Should I individually appoint an advocate or just monitor the ongoing case that is going on or file a case against the seller for cheating.

The 700 Sq Ft plot is currently registered on my name and the Encumbrance Certificate also reflects my name.

Request your expertise advice.
