Son's Right in Father's Earned Property

Does a Muslim son claim his legal right in Father's Earned Property (Movable or immovable) during lifetime of Parents?

No right can be claimed during lifetime of his parents (whether property is self-acquired or ancestral), parents (father) will have absolute authority over the same during his lifetime. Son has no right to claim any share. Thanks
