About 1.1 acres of land at Tirupati was purchased by me about 35 yrs ago. There was a faux paus at the time of registration of the property. Instead of "Kodur Subba Reddy s/o Kodur Venku Reddy", it was registered in the name of "Kodur. Venku Reddy s/o Kodur Subba Reddy". My father, K odur Venku Reddy died during 1992. Other legal heirs, my mother  and my widowed sister are my dependants under my care and protection.  They are wholeheartedly willing to set the record straight and willing to give the property as gift to me or to my two married daughters. What is the most convenient and cheapest mode of transfer. What are the amounts of stamp duty and registration fees in this case? Can you please guide me in this matter?
