Stay vacate

Stay given by high court on C.P.C 151 on judgement given lower district court.

How long this stay is valid.

The civil cases are taking more time/years .

The stay order will clearly mention the period for which the stay is operational ... whether it is stay till the next  date of hearing (unlikely in an Appeal) or stay on execution of the decree during the pendency of Appeal - if so, whether there are any conditions which the Appellant has to satisfy towards stay (like deposit of decretal amount in a money decree). If there is any doubt at all on the  scope and meaning of order, seek a clarification from the Court (depending of course, if you otherwise WANT a clarification, or you want to take your chances and play with fire, trying to use an ambiguty in an interim order - status quo stay orders may sometimes be vague, though status quo is not something usually ordered in an Appeal).
