Tenant filed case against owner without paying advance

We are 83 and 73 years couple. We have a two floor building in AP. We are giving ground floor for rent. Recently A party of  3 people came and approached to take the ground floor of our house for rent to open an office.

It was agreed with three months advance plus the current month rent would be paid by the end of the month. But the tenant paid just 1/8 of advance and later gave a check for the remaining amount, but the check got bounced. As the tenant did not honor his payment commitments after several talks, the owner got suspicious about the tenant and his intentions. As he started some alterations of lights and start work, the owner asked the tenant to vacate the premises. Instead of vacating the premises, he agreed to vacate and next day the tenant filed harassment case against the owner. How to deal with this case?
