tenant not vacating house

I rented out my house for Rs.3000 PM in chandigarh without agreement in year 2006 . I need house for my self . But the tenant refuses to vacate the house . I have not accepted rent from him for last 3 months .

  1. what is best remedy ?
  2. if legal process is required , where to file the case ?
  3. how much time it will take for me to get control of my house ?

If you require the house back for your bonafide need and you donot have alternative suitable accommodation, you can get the tenant evicted. There is a speedy procedure in almost all rent control legislations which is a state subject for eviction in case of bonafide need. Do consult a lawyer.
