With a view to increase transparency and awareness among the users of the Indira Gandhi International Airport Cargo Terminal, New Delhi and to make their transactions simpler Cargo department of Airports Authority of India (AAI) & IGI Cargo Terminal has come out with an updated informative booklet.The booklet contains the schedule of rates for Export & Import cargo.

NOTE
- The Exporters/Customs clearance Agents shall be permitted to bring in their own manpower for unloading their export cargo at Truck-Dock. The movement of unloaded cargo at Truck Dock area and shifting to examination/bonded area is undertaken by AAI appointed handling agents.
- TSP Charges for Newspaper and TV reel consignments shall be 50% of the prescribed charges.
- Consignments of human remains, coffin including baggage of deceased and human eyes will be exempted from the purview of TSP and demurrage charges.
- No separate Forklift charges will be levied.
- Charges will be levied on the Gross/Chargeable weight or the actual weight of the consignment whichever is higher.
- The free period of export cargo shall be one working day (24 hours) for customs examination/processing by the shippers.
- Special Cargo consists of Valuable cargo including Category ‘A’ Dipmail, Live animals and Hazardous cargo.
- All bills to be rounded off to the nearest higher Rs.5/-
III Penal charges for Mis-declaration of weight
a. No penal charges will be levied for weight variation upto 2%.
b. Beyond 2% to 5% of weight variation, double the applicable TSP charges shall be levied.
c. Beyond 5% of weight variation, Five times of the applicable TSPcharges shall be levied.
IV MOT Charges
All the consignments arriving at Cargo Terminal with Customs permission between 2200 hrs. and 1000 hrs. and on closed holidays shall be accepted with MOT charges of Rs. 200/- per consignment apart from the prescribed TSP charges.
V.X-Ray charges
X-ray charges will be levied @ Rs. 1.50 per kg.(Minimum Rs 100/-)
VI.Packing/Repacking Charges
Packing/Repacking charges for examined cargo will be collected against receipt by AAI.

NOTES
- Free period with no demurrage in respect of Import cargo shall be 5 working days from the date of landing. For the next two days, demurrage will be charged at ‘per kg per day’ non-cumulative basis, if cargo is cleared within 7 days of landing otherwise demurrage will accrue for the entire period from the date of the arrival of the flight.
- Consignments of human remains coffin including baggage of deceased and human eyes will be exempted from the preview of TSP and demurrage charges.
- No separate Forklift charges will be levied.
- Charges will be levied on the Gross/Chargeable weight or the actual weight of the consignment whichever is higher.
- Special cargo consists of cargo stored in Cold storage, live animals and hazardous goods.
- Valuable cargo consists of gold, bullion, currency notes, securities, shares share coupons, traveler cheques, diamonds (including diamonds for industrial use), diamond jewellery, jewellery and watches made of silver, gold, platinum, category ‘A’ Dipmail and items valued at USD 1000 per kg.( gross wt.) and above.
- Free period mentioned above is available if cargo is cleared within the free period. If cargo is not cleared within free period, then full period will be charged as per tariff.
- Packing/Repacking charges for Customs examined packgs will be collected at prescribed rates by AAI.
- All bills be rounded off to the nearest higher Rs. 5/-.
