Hello sir, greetings of the day.
As per your query, Yes, if A is a managing trustee in trust X, then also A can be a managing trustee in trust Y. It is not that uncommon for a person to be the beneficiary of multiple trusts. Under Section 10 of The Indian Trusts Act, 1882, it is stated that, Every person capable of holding property may be a trustee; but, where the trust involves the exercise of discretion, he cannot execute it unless he is competent to contract.  Therefore, a person can be trustee in more than one trust. There is no limitation. But one should be careful. As there are various types of trusts, can serve multiple purposes and can be established by or by someone else for your benefit.
Hope this answers your query.
