Updation in 7/12

1. Agriland on the name of Grandfather (Mother's Father) & his brother.

2. Both are passed away long back.

3. 7/12 contains my uncle's (mama) name.

4. What it is the procedure to add My mother's name in 7/12 ? What Mother's identification documents are required? Because Mother hasnot done any schooling.

5. How can My Mother claim her share on the land?

Dear Sanju,

Your mother needs to obtain Legal Heir Certificate from the District Court / High Court, as applicable. so that she could ask the tehsaldar to insert her name in the 7/12 extract of the property. further, you need to produce the Death Certificate of your grandfather & your mama. So that the tehasildar could be sure about the genuineness of the transaction.

Thank you for the response.

My uncles (Mama) are alive. Today I got latest copy of 7/12. It contains my mother's cusine sisters names and even my cusine Mama's wife & theire sons name also.

If I connect to Talathi office, will I get exat information ?

Or redirect me to correct office.
