Urgent help regarding property

Hi All, i have an unrgent question we have a property in delhi which is being rented out in 2009 and an evictionc ase is pending in tis hazari since 2012 and now judge asked us if there is a chance of settlement b/w us...and gave a next date. So, the question is that we were not accepting the rent from tenant but one of my aunt accepted the money order on our behalf and signed the reciept. May I know what can happen now as we have stated that he is not paying rent and it was 6000/month but he sent us 8000 whereas on receipt it is mentioned 4000 with no date on it. Kindly help
