Vakaltha filing by group c employee in department of posts

There will be a Government Pleader to file counters and argue before the court on behalf of the Government Departments(central and state separate).  I think you are entrusted with the court work to obtain the legal opinion of the GP, attend the court on the hearing dates and maintain the court files.

If you are representing the postal department in the court case then you will be given with an authorisation letter along with a vakalatnama duly singed by the authorised officer of your department in favor of your lawyer representing the department.

Show the authorisation letter, stated to have been issued by department to local standing counsel for the postal department / Union of India
