The Indian Contract Act, 1872 defies certain essential to be fulfilled in order to form a valid contract i.e.
1. Offer and Acceptance
2. Intention
3. Consideration
4. Competent Paeties
5. Free Consent
6. Object should be lawful
Along with these essentials the subject matter of contract shall not be declared void under the act.
