I am from Agricultural family and have other inherited Agricultural land. this year (2015) in January i purchased some Agricultrual land(half is Rubber Plantation) with Bank loan but as per PAN card my other income is more than 2Lakhs,but less than 5Lakhs because of my other FD deposites, and Income certificate shows only 70,000Rs.
As we did not bribe the VA he commented about source of Income when purchased and we got a notice about the purchase;
but last Friday Karnataka Govt passed The Karnataka Land Reforms (Amendment) Bill, 2015 to acquir land by persons not engaged in agriculture from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
My question is this new amendment apply to me or old law to follow.
