video clips and coverage can be admitted in evidence in civil proceedings

In a civil suit a video coverage in CD about the possession of diputed property can be submitted in evidence and this type of electronics evidence is admissable in the civil suit .please give any citation.my email id is mr.sushil_bhatia@rediffmail.com

well primary evidence is always admissible in evidence if relevant.


in ur case u ll have to prove the cd is authentic, court ll have to c the cd does not contain interfered material.


u can click few photographs too to show ur possession cause its easy to prove them with the help of negatives to be produced in court in original.

Yes, provided your CD is genuine. See the amendment in section 3 of the Evidence act read with the new section 22A of the evidence act. The new amnedment section 3 of the evidence act speak about "The contents of electronic records" and the new section 22A speak about relevance of oral admission as to contents of electronic  records in certain circumstances.See also the amnedment of section 59,65,65A and 65B of the Evidence act.
