I wanted to know what would be the legality of selling surplus(export surplus, defective) clothing using my website.
- What are the terms & conditions that I should mention on the website?
- Is it legal to retail these surplus clothes?
- Can I sell with the brand label, or should I get them removed?
- Can I mention the brand name on my website? Or should I be subtle about it?
Absolutely yes. I can’t say much but if there is any health hazards, then it is restricted. Example, Paris cigarettes selling at lowest price and yet it is banned.
Terms- defective clothes but repaired.
Not illegal to sell them
brand name must be used and that company should give you permission to sell them or else it is illegal. Even if there is no brand name, it is illegal to sell without manufacturers permission.
