Who can heir

my grand father deceased .He has 1 son ,3 daughters .currently my grand father  holding only  7 of 13 acres of land. In which 10 is his self acquired and 3 is legal heir. He gave 3 acres to 1st daughter,3 acres to 2nd daughter, cash valued for 3 acres to the 3rd daughter.my question as my father has no share legally given.what will he get from  7(1.5 legal share from great grand father,5.5 self acquired) .

Your father should have a 1/4th share in the total properties.

your father is entitled only 1/4 share of inherited land got by your grandfather i.e 1.5 acre only . rest 7acre land is self earned by your grandfather and he has all rights to give It to anybody It is on his discreation.

as u mentioned my grandfather can give it to anyone he likes.but he died five years ago without mentioning any particulars of the share .so what is my father eligible share among 5.5 self acquired by my grand father.
