Why do wife file for 498a and dv?

Dear Mr.Kumar,

That is a lethal weapon given to women by our beloved govts.Actually 90% of the cases are false,and even the law makers know it.Is there a solution?

People need to reunite and revolt against this law.. U can visit websites like aimwa (All india mens welfare association) and 498a.org etc

its all money... either you are eyeing her money or she is not willing to shares her... or she is eyeing your money...

as our laws are not based on equality and favours a destitute woman... but all woman manipulate and misuse law because her lawyer feeds her with loopholes

Inspite of kisues this law is needed.  The need was felt by the society.  Had this law not been there people would have even file civil suits for recovery of dowry from bride's father in the name of custom.

As long as the people are there who need this law it will have relevance.
