Wife rights on ancestral property acquired from his parents

Dear All

Kindly request your advise on the subject....

I do have some property  on my name, how ever, that was not my own earned by ancestral property got from my grandfather and father.(one from my grand father to father to me/ other from my father to me)

Can my wife claim the property on my name even when i have not acquired them on my own and got as ancestral property as per new proposed amendments in HMA wife's share for husband's property

Sincerely request for your advise

Regards...

It is just a proposed amendment and no amendment is yet made. We cannot say right now whether the bill will be passed or not or if passed in what changes it will undergo till it becomes a law.

Transfer your property to your mother to be on a safer side as no one knows how the situation would unfold after the passing of the amendment.
