Dear Sirs,

Please advice if a wife can forcefully take husband's mobile phone?

After filing mutual divorce, My wife snatched my mobile phone and trying to defame me using my personal datas and contacts.

Once divorce taken both become ex ,she cannot defame you on previous grounds ,, issue legal notice to her ,that take legal action.

Greetings!

A mobile phone is considered as a property which belongs to registered owner. It is against the law to take someone else's phone and it is against the law to break someone else's phone. Furthermore, if someone else access information without consent of the owner; it constitutes a crime as well.

Kawmini Liyanage.
