Grandson Law (Business)     14 September 2021

Will signed after death of one of the beneficiaries

My grandfather signed a plain paper will in front of two witnesses along with their signatures where he mentioned that his only house to be divided among his 3 sons equally. All his 3 sons are residing in the same house. Now the thing is, One of my uncles mentioned in the will died 15 days before signing of the will. Will his children and his family get the share? My grandfather died 10 months after signing the will. Will only 2 sons get the share?

Testator of will is your grandfather who is stated to have validly executed it bequeathing his share of property in favour of his 3 sons including his predeceased son.

The legal heirs of the deceased uncle get the uncle's share in the house.

"his only house" What exactly it means. Is the house and property on which it was constructed his self acquired property or ancestral property.

"One of my uncles mentioned in the will died 15 days before signing of the will"! The statement is unconvincing. If o, why the grandfather executed the Will benefitting his deceased son? The posting suggests deeper issues.
