Write Petition and Tenders

Is writ petition the only remedy available when the accepted bid of the bidder has been rejected and fresh tender process has been ordered?

Dear Shayonee Dasgupta,

There is no estoppel to file a civil suit or arbitration petition as well but the same is dependent upon the terms of the bid documents and descretion of the parties in this regard.

Best Regards

Yes, if the order is smack with arbitariness or favouritism writ will lie to prevent such arbitariness or favouritism as violative to the equality clauses in article 14 of the constitution.
