| Sir, May I where & how did you came across this statement. childern born to couple(parents) are never treated as Assets or Liabilities. They are the members of family not a machinery generating income/revenue and loss/expenditure to treat them as assets or liabilities. kindly correct me if required... | |

| Though a son or a daughter cannot be termed as assets or liablities but performance of obligations by parents in the education, bringing up and marriage etc. is certainly a liability of the parents. This his has held time and again while deciding petitions for maintenance etc. | |

| She gets right in parent's property so she is equally liable.but after marriege only her personal property shoud be counted for liability which she gets from her parents as security,gift or istri dhan. | |

| have any one thought of parent who had only daughter to support them, if mens are asset to family female too have equal equation. PLEASE ASSETS & LIABILITIES ARE DECIDED BY NATURE(in our case it Characters) NOT BY GENDER. | |
