To have best brains in the Judicial service, it is better to have mechanism for selection of Judges through All India Judicial Service Examination. Also, Psychology test of the persons to be appointed Judges must be mandatory. The Judges should not only have thorough knowledge of law but must have the patience, understanding of human behaviour and social problems.

I totally agree that there should be an all India Judicial service exam, for selection of judges at the entry level. I share Obaid Hasan Gondal's views on that. The judiciary being one of the highest law enforcing authority in India, should have people of caliber, otherwise the purpose is defeated.

yes...there must be a unified examination of the induction os judges in lower courts, but the judges of higher judiciary and the apex court must be appointed by the commission. because knowing the law is not all. to be the judges of higher judiciary, one must possess the judicial wisdom, that unfortunately can't be checked in written examination.

There should be All India Judicial Service examination for selection of judges and the selection should be done by proper & strict procedure so that no corrupted persons shall get into the service by any means.
