Since ours is country of democracy. Whoever occupy any highest post of this country are filled up from citizens only. Nobody is above law . Hence may be brought under scanner. There is no one permanent occupier of any post. And there is no herachy or inheritation of any post like a kingdomship. Therefore it is very much required to be included in the proposed Lokpal bill.

"Law is the king of sovereign" accountability of the State (Legislature, Executive and Judiciary) to law is must to cope against the corruption. No one is above the law whatsoever he is. Judicial conscience is an inherent quality of human but differs person to person and the judges who are honest they always respect to the supremacy of the law of nation and those who are not honest for themselves they don't care to cause disrespect to law so that sanction of law is indispensable. Judiciary should be amenable under the provisions of proposed Lokpal Bill thereafter certainly judiciary shall be more efficient.

Because judiciary is also one of the integral part of our constitution and administration of justice thus it requires to maintain dignity and corruption in the judiciary can break the the faith of general public in the system. Moreover, it is general perception that our judicial system does not act impartially and particularly lower judiciary is correct.

Rule of law must be maintained. I think Judiciary should be brought under Lok Pal. But there must be provisio for judicial reviewe of the decision of lok pal otherwise this lok pal Act may turn into draconian law and the rule of law may be massacred.

Yes. More so, when judiciary has lost its credibility in the eyes of the common man.

Judiciary is not a private guild, like that of 'barbers, butchers, candle stick makers', but by bold contrast, a public institution committed to public justice. It should stand 10 foot ahead, and act as a model group, and set an example to the other sections of the society. Claiming exemption from the proposed bill is totally uncalled for. Singling out a particular section for conferring preferential treatment is against the mandate of Article 14 of the Constitution of India. Proposed Lokpal bill, if loses sight of this reality, will be ultravires the Constitution, and is liable to be struck down.
