It is neither hijack, nor are the so called HELected absolute voice of common man. Corruption, graft, black money, non-accountability of so called pErmanent governMINT people has simply crossed all limits. It is the question of future of the nation. There should not be any dilution on such an important issue, lest we are demeaning the sacrifices made, being made of several millions of unseen, unsung, meaningful, honorable patriots.

Parliament must have the final say it is Supreme. If the civil society want to change then they should get elected by the people. They cannot achieve the same simply with excessive media coverage. Through which will get and publicity and funds.

The only motto seems to be of the non-elected is to get media attention and nothing else as anybody wants to fight against a democratically elected Government.

it is a wrong question put to vote in my opinion as civil society is considered fourth pillar of democracy and work as pressure groups in all democratic nations of the world. They are part of public public are the real masters of the government in a democracy. These people are not snatching the right of Parliament to pass or sanction the legislation but only trying to exert that a good law is being drafted by the executive which is most potently helpful in fight against corruption.Putting that Parliament is being hijacked by doing so is totally a misconception spread by the government to divert the real issue.

Democratic process has to follow the Constitution. The people have powers to elect their representatives in Lok-sabha and remove them whereever there are elections. Non-elected are free to make a public-opinion so that people can make a judicious decision for the next elections but the non-elected cannot anyway interfere in the working of the existing Parliament as such.

In democracy plateform is parliament not streets. It is failure of opposition if issues are decided on the streets. It is not a question of elected or non elected.

Parliament is Supreme but failure in responsibilities Civil Society i.e.non elected make them to rise above and accept what is needed today.Current Scenario is mandate of the need and Parliament must welcome as representative of Civil Society. Important bills are sometime made public for opinion and suggestions are invited.Members of Parliament must forgo vested interests. O.P.SHARMA Advocate RAJASTHAN HIGH COURT,JAIPUR
