Today we are talking of framing lokpal bill and all that for the eradication of corruption.Day after day we are analysing that there is no department left in India which is no lacunas. 2G, 3G scam makes us learn that there is an immediate need for transparency in our country. In the near future i'm sure such things will hapen. Thus CBI should come under RTI Act.

CBI is for eradicating corruption and to establish the Rule of Law in the Country for good Governance by way of transparency, so why should we keep CBI outside the scanning of RTI?

Because there is an element of doubt in the mind of the people that directly or indirectly the central govt can influence this department. Therefore in order to bring more transparency it becomes necessary. But there should be some limitations or exemptions in this regards so that vital in formations regarding the security & safety of the country is kept untouched.
