75% of area of proprty puchase. last owner has documents.

I purchased 75% of  land from previous owner. He has documents with 100% of land on his name.

He registered us 75% of land,, when we bought from him. But, he still holds his original documents shows 100% land owned by him. I want to avoid any misuse of these documents to do one more sale of full 100% land.

Is there any provision for me to get the document 100% of land owned by previous oner?

Only other 25% of land need to re-registered on previous owner.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Is the sale registered? Does it bear required registration fees/stamp paper, registrationn number, signature, stamp etc?

If it is so, then you can come out with a legal notice prohibiting further sale. This notice can be sent to the owner, pasted prominently at the property, published in dailies, conveyed to brokers etc. The registration authority may also be informed of the sale and requested not to make fresh registration.
