Hello,
I got the new passport for my child without the Surname printed on it. This is because on the Birth certificate the name of child was written only as first name. My mistake, I assumed that passport office would add Surname by default & hence when I was asked if the Father's name is not added & only first name is added in the name, I agreed.
But unfortunatly I missed that they wil removed the surname also. What should I do? Should I apply fro fresh passport with correction after getting a new Birth Certificate from Muncipalty
(OR)
should I approach the Passport office with the newly obtained passport with School Bonafide, already attached previously also, & request them to add the Surname, I am sure they would charge some fee since it was my mistake

I wait until he attains age of 15 or 18 for issue of new passport, He is 13 years old now!
