Delhi State Consumer Commission overlooked / ignored the false affidavits filed by a Realtor that resulted in miscarriage of justice. Perjury Petition was not accepted by the State Commission on the pretext that it is overburdened with pending cases. I have filed an Appeal in NCDRC and also a Perjury Case simultaneously in Tis Hazari Court, Delhi.
However, some legal circles opioned that Perjury Case can be filed only in the same Court where false affidavits under oath have been filed by lthe Realtor.
In the light the above refusal of State Commission, whether Perjury Petition can be allowed by Tis Hazari Court, Delhi? I shall be grateful if expert opinion on this is furnished and also by citing a case example.
