I have query about buying agricultural land in Uttar Pradesh , District Aligarh.
We are planning to buy 2 Beegha of urban agricultural land for Rs 20 lakh. Three persons will contribute / share:
Myself [Self Employed] , Contribution = 5 lakh,
My Father [Retired From Govt. Job] , Contribution = 10 lakh, and
Brother [Self Employed] , Contribution = 5 lakh,
I want to know :
a) Do one have to be a farmer by profession to own a agricultural land in Uttar Pradesh?
b) What are the Laws / rules to buy agriculture land in Uttar Pradesh.
c) What all things we should check for before purchasing and what documents required from buyers (our) side.
d) Can there be some better way of sharing/contribution , other than above, in our case.
