Cheque bouncing

within 30 days from the time of receipt of Bank's return memo, you will have to give a statutory notice to the drawer of the cheque, intimating him of the cheque dishonour and demand payment from him in lieu of the returned cheque, within 15 days from the date of receipt of your notice. If he/she does not pay up within 15 days from the date of receipt of your notice, you may file a case within 30 days from the date of expiry of the said 15 days.  

 within one month and 15 days after service of notice,if the amount remains unpaid
