My doubt is regarding the proper process to be followed regarding having a clear title. I have an ancestral land in Calcutta of which I'm a part shareholder. This was given to a builder to build flats through a Development Agreement . After getting the flats ready, the builder has given me possession letters for my flats. I want to clarify the following points
- Are these documents (Development agreement & possession letter) enough to claim clear title of my flats?
- If I don't get the flats mutated, for say 1 year, who will pay the property tax of that portion?
- Can I file for mutation independently or would I need the builder's signature for the same?
