Do i have equal right as my mother in mygrandfather property

hi i am a lady .my grand father and my father both has expired. i am the only daughter of my father.there is one property of my grand father. as my father is no more it automaticaly comes to my mother as i know.now my mother wants to sale the same.the relationship in between my mother and me is not good.she has much money.she has not given me even the love of a mother. so i want to take my share.she is saying that she will sale the property alone there is no need of my signature.

i want to know that can she sale the property without my signature? if yes, then can i do anything after registery of that property.

Dear shilpi

as per discussion you can file a partition petition before hon'ble court but before that you can file an objection in writting before Sub- registrar office of your area with all the requirement.

YOU HAVE EQUAL RIGHT IN YOUR ANCESTRAL PROPERTY. YOU HAVE MENTIONED THAT YOU DON'T HAVE GOOD RELATIONS WITH YOUR MOTHER. YOU NEED NOT TO BOTHER MUCH BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT DEMANDING SOMETHING FROM MOTHER BUT IT YOUR RIGHT AS YOU ARE LEGAL HIER.
