Domicile Certificate

Plzzz let me know the documents required & procedures for Domicile certificate (i am a student & my father doesnt have a domicile certificate) what shall i do? & can i use the I.T. returns which has our address on it as stay proof???

plzzzzz do answer... as soon as possible plzzzzzz........

Application for the Domicile Certificate

The applicant can get prescribed forms online or from one of the following offices

  • The Sub-Divisional Magistrate
  • Tehsil office
  • Revenue Department Office
  • Office of District Collector
  • Any other authority that is specified in the State or Union Territory

What do you need to apply for a Domicile Certificate?

You will need following documents if you want to apply for a Domicile Certificate

  • Certified copies of the following documents are required to be attached along with application:


     
    • Any proof showing 15 years stay (i.e. ration card, rent receipt, electric bill etc.)
    • Attested xerox copy of first and last page of ration card
    • Affidavit duly affirmed on stamp paper of Rs.20/-.
