what are the legal remedies against filing a false dowry case. can girls parents can also be prosecuted and is there any other harm possible to the girl's side.
Whether husband/in-laws can claim monetary damages from DIL and her parents/family for filing false case.
i have recordings and letters to prove that they were blackmailing me and were telling me to pay them a huge amount otherwise they will file false dowry case against me and my family.
1. Distant chance as per brief.
2. The lady is "protected" from prosecution but her family members whom your side will enroll as proposed accused are not "protected" as per Law in current form. Morover D HC is examining the "protection" clause too and WCD / NCW have already filed their Affidavits on this subject.
3. Recordings materials as stated in briefs are probably useful for criminal initimidation sections based a complaint case which one can try but it is long drawn witness listing case and 'they' can always hide behind Nandanai Satpathy Vs Union of India binding law defence on admission of voice recordings are concerned. So where the complainant evidence will stand then !

I am fully aware of the nature of Satpathy case what I mean by re. it here is to stress that a person can't be made to make a statement which will go against her hope you also got my point !
Here the guy should have reported the matter asap as GD entry to nearest PS when he had all these audio / video materials which is the que. the MM will think when and if the case come to Court.
