Harassement by tikona

I purchased a Tikona prepaid plan vide ID #1106330000
The plan was a prepaid plan valid for unlimited usage for 6 months. After the completion of 6 months I did not intended to use the plan further so I did not renew the plan and stopped the usage by myself as it was not automatically cut off from Tikona.
After the completion of six months and few days I received a call from Tikona that your plan has been renewed for which no consent was taken from me. When I told that I don't wanted to get the plan renewed they told me that my plan was under "Auto Update" and It has been renewed and now you have to pay around 3600 Rs. for the next six months. The option of "Auto Update" was never mentioned to me at the time of selling the plan. Thereafter I told them to disconnect my connection with immediate effect which was done by Tikona after taking one month of time (All the hardware were collected from my premises). After that I received a bill of Rs. 3500+ for payment. Which I refused to pay since I did not use the connection after the six months.
There started the harrasement from Tikona:
Firstly I received 2-3 calls daily from customer department for payment and I told them the story of my wrong "Auto Update' to each one of them every time
Then after some time I received a call from Delhi Tees Hazari court that a case has been filed against me for non payment of the said amount and the amount should paid with in 2 hours with Tikona or I will have to face legal suit. I knew this modusoperandi and denied the payment rather I got my lawyer talk to that so called Tees Hazari court personnel which proved to be fake.
Today (18th December) I got a mail from Tikona's legal department to pay the amount in 7 days for face legal proceeding.

This is a total harasement on the part of Tikona of asking me a payment of service which I never opted for or used and it could very well be established from there log also if I used the service after my alloted quota of 6 months.

I am not taking legal action against Tikona for mental harassment. Furthermore I am writing to :
-Consumer affairs Ministry
-TRAI
-Ministry of Telecom and Information Broadcasting
-BAR council of Delhi tees hazari court with recordings of the fake phone calls received
-Peheredar in CNBC Awaaz
- Every renoun  media house

Each customer should carefully go thru the forms filed by him before signing the form and must obtain a duly signed and stamped copy of complete form................... from the company. If company declines to provide a duly certified copy ask the representative to get out.

 

If you have not asked for any service you are bound to pay.

 

You are rather eligible to get compensated for all calls made by you, all calls listened to by you, all letters etc drafted by you etc............................and it is up to you how do you handle the matter.

 

Record all such calls.

 

Visit local o/o Police Commissioner and obtain the details of ownership of phone numbers from which calls are made.

Lodge complaint against this man impersonating as a lawyer (with Bar Council of India) or Police Inspector ( with Police Commissioner).

 

This menace has to be tackled.

Approach your local MC, Mohalla Pradhan, Society President and, create acrowd and drill the sense into heads of local BM  of M/s Tikona and make him write down under his original seal and signature on letterhead of M/s Tikona complete address and details of al persons that have called you, produce certified copy of SEF filled by you while obtaining connection.

 

Circulate to all of your near and dear ones to surrender connection of M/s Tikona.

 

Approach the institution of print and electronic media, police, NGO’s, DCDRF, private criminal complaint, legal-social-citizens-consumer portals, government regulators, courts of law and let  M/s Tikona and its deeds become famous...............................and popular.

 

Let there be mass surrender of connections of M/s Tikona.

 

It has been tried and really useful.

 

IN our locality we have a welfare association.

 

Any company be it: Telecom, Insurance, Credit Cards, Internet, Bank, NBFC etc....................that resorts to unfair tactics is blacklisted and asked to get out. NO one even a recovery agency, collection agency, police official, lawyer whatever............................... is allowed and permitted to come. Any one that dares is given a fitting lessiona dn good beating of mind.

 

We are virtually free from such nuisance.

 

The police officials also co operate now and we promptly get ownership details of tele callers.

 

Some of the consumer help groups have done a good job.
