I have bought a flat in Panvel from a fellow who jointly owned it with his wife. Wife expired so he has to obtain heir certificate. The property is valued at 26 lakhs . My question is how much will be court fees/stampduty on this property. Since property is jointly owned by Husband and wife, court fees/stamp duty will be on value of property or half the value of property i. e 13 lacks as wife who expired jointly hel the property.
