how to become member of co-op.society

I have sold the property in1999. but buyer gives us cheque for consideration.cheque become dihonoured .I have the possession of property .buyer has taken the mortgage loan on that property 1999. he is defaulter of loan,

now question how to become the member of that  society property.

due to dishornour of cheque issued by buyer, so u can file cheque bounce case uned Sec 138 of N I Act and u can file civil case for recovery of money

i could not understand ur next question ie how to become member of society property,

plz explain clearly
