Apparently you have neither received any settlement letter, nor the receipt of online payment of Rs.30000/-.
In all probabilities Rs.30000/ have been adjusted in total amount o/s towards you and interest penalties are still being added on daily basis.
Moreover all transactions are on phone. Have you recorded any of the calls during which company has stated to settle the a/c in three installments.
Kindly conduct all transactions by letter only .Submit all payments by cheque only and along with a covering letter, in which you should write the purpose and intent of the cheque and reference of all transactions after which cheque is being submitted, and deposit letter and cheque in person at local branch and obtain acknowledgment under seal and signature on the copy of letter and photocopy of the cheque. Write the purpose of the cheque on the reverse of the cheque.
You may not able to settle the matter in a very sincere, innocent manner.
Kindly obtain legal advice from your local lawyer. You may be able to settle the matter at even lower amount.
As per RBIO guidelines bank has to supply you in writing the complete name of firm and contact details with address of their recovery agency. You may accept calls from the number mentioned in the letter only.
Recovery agents can not come to your address without the copy of notice of the bank and their original ID.
One of imp. condition of the settlement is that company shall not demand any amount over and above expressed in settlement letter and shall issue NOC and clean the record with credit rating agencies e.g. CIBIL, SATYAM, etc.
