Legal Status of a Sale deed made on back dated stamp paper?

Hi Friends,
If a Sale deed is made on say 15th march 2007 and the stamp paper shows the date of sale of stamp paper also as 15th march 2007 but investigation reveals that the said stamp paper was not even printed in march 2007 but was issued from the treasury office only in December 2007.
What is the legal status of such a Sale Deed and where all can it be challenged?

 It amounts to fraud.

1. It indicates that there was no transaction on that date since the existance of the stamp paper itself in question.

2.A stamp paper is being issued with/shown as issued on  a back date, to do some nefarious act.

Fraud vitiates every thing. Hence, it is not valid in the eye of law and can be challenged wherever it is presented.

The purpose of document is to record the transaction taken place as the memoryof human being is poor.So if transaction is recorded disputes could be minimised. But somepeople misuse the documents by cteating the false documents which creat disputes between man to man.In this case also the  birth of the document itself iscreated one which amouts to fruad-Janaki ManoharRao,

Yes. That amounts to forgery also.

It would amount to fraud, admittedly.
