Minor share in property

Dear Lawyers,

1. Can a minor boy file a suit for partition in father's self acquired property with the help of a divorced ex-wife ?

2. Can a father gift his self acquired property to his minor girls ?

Note:- The father is alive in both questions.

No, minor/major son/daughter can't file the suit for partition for self acquired property of their father/mother.

Yes, father can gift his self acquired property to his minor girl.
