Esteemed legal minds,
I need some help in clarifying the requirement of "No/Nil Tenancy Certificate (NTC)" for buying an agricultural land in Karnataka.
A. Is the NTC document required to show that the seller is not the tenant or to show that there are no tenants in the land which is up for sale?
B. Is the NTC required, if the mutation papers shows that the seller is the legitimate owner of the land through acquisition, and he is not the tenant?
C. If the NTC document is required, is it only for the intended survey # (which is up for sale) or for all the properties held by the seller in the taluka where the sale property is located?
