Noc needed or not

Hi,

There is a property in both my parent's names and they are planning to sell this property. They have 2 children (My sister and myself).

Do they have to get NOC from us to sell the property or can they sell it without the NOC?

Thanks,

John.

In case, if the property is self acquired by your parents. There is no necessity of your NOC.

Even if it is ancestral, then also , they can sell it without your NOC, only difficulty arise to the purchaser if you dispute the said transaction.

If the property is your parent's own property, for disposal of the same, they do not need to obtain NOC from any anyone including their own children
