Pecuniary Jurisdiction

Pecuniary Jurisdiction of the Bombay High Court on its original side at present is Rs.50,000/- and above. Upto Rs.50,000/- pecuniary jurisdiction is with Bombay City Civil court.

I am really surprised to note that the pecuniary jurisdiction of Bombay HC is only above Rs. 50,000/- In Chennai it is above Rs. 10 lakhs
