Pf name mismatch

Told and telling are verbal modes of communication and is not on record.

 

Whatever is your issue communicate in writing and under proper acknowledgment with a copy to you.

 

Your name is to be filled by you in all forms that you submit to anyone.

Your name is what is registered and recorded in your testimonials e.g.  Matric Certificate, Pan Card,Aadhar Card,Passport etc………Any change is to be notified.

 

You should keep a copy of PF membership Form that you submitted thru your employer………………or obtain it from employer………………or obtain it from EPFO even if thru RTI.

 

You need to obtain clarification from concerned PF office too, in whose name the Cheque/credit shall be issued by Cheque/RTGS-NEFT and how does EPFO expect you to encash the instrument of payment issued in the name of ……………………in bank a/c in the name of………..?

 

Meet APFC/RPFC in the nearest PF office.Their contact details are available at:

My uncle has a PF account in which his name is mentioned as SURESH instead of SURESH PRASAD. The company was closed in 2013. There is no option to file correction form through EMPLOYER. 

How we would be able to get the name corrected in PF Records and money back from the PF department as company is already closed.

your question is "How we would be able to get the name corrected in PF Records and money back from the PF department as company is already closed." PRACTICALLY NO EASY WAY. There is one way, let him make a complaint of evasion as no funds have been deposited in correct name. the directors of closed company can still be forced to deposit the money. or else meet your bankers

Sufficient inputs have been given in this thread.

Employer collects (ID proof-KYC docs) from employee and provides PF forms and collects duly filled and signed PF froms from employee.Employer/authorised signatory has to relate the details with employee's KYC docs and service record and attest the forms and therafter PF a/c in correct name should be opened.

 

Employer issues salary slip of each month to employee.

EPFO issues PF a/c slips for each employee to employee that employer has to pass on to each employee.

 

Now relate who made the mistake and where.

If it is employer then blame and pull the employer............................or find a way out, as suggested above.

 

 

I have to claim PF and will be submitting form with the photo copy of below mentioned documents.

The name on PF account, Bank account, Pan card is "Asim Khan".

But on Aadhaar full name is mentioned as "Mohammed Asim Iqbal Khan".

Will there be an issue?

Should I attach a Self Declaration Letter that both names are of one & the same person?

Or should I attach a Affidavit declaring both names are of same person? Will appreciate your replies.

Check with local/jurisdictional  PF office.

 

If your full and correct name is  "Mohammed Asim Iqbal Khan".

then it should be same everywhere.
